10 Makeup tips to help you look good in pictures
Ever wondered what it would take to have the picture perfect look You have always craved for? Here are some of my tips to looking great in that shot!
Tip #1Prime Prime Prime!
Prep and prime the face- since you will be taking a close up shot of your face, it is important to moisturise and use a primer to shrink large pores, fill in any lines or wrinkles, creating a skin smoothening effect, leaving a flawless canvass for your makeup application.
Tip #2 Groom and define your brows. this instantly adds lift to the look. check out my post on how to sculpt your brows.
Tip #3- Ensure you pick the right foundation shade and blend into the hair line and under the jaw to prevent unsightly demarcation marks. Go easy on the layers of cream products to be applioed viz a viz contour, foundation, concealer etc to avoid the cakey look.
Tip #4 Put your best foot forward by picking and playing up your best feature- a bold eye or a bold lip but not both.For me I usually go light on my eyes and do a bold lip why? you may ask, I love lipsticks and how they just transform you with just one swipe!
Tip#5- Finish off the look with a highlighter applied where light would normally hit the face, to highlight the cheekbones, tip of nose etc
