BLOG NAME CHANGE - From Glamdassah to ??????????

Hi guys ( my lovely readers both old and new) , thanks for stopping by to view my blog.

I  recently changed my social media handles from Glamdassah to ??????

Here is why..........

Glamdassah was birthed from a blend between the words "Glam" and "Hadassah" the Hebrew version of my name and together, signified beauty.

However as time went on I felt it was a bit restrictive because there was more to me than just beauty and fashion.
I wanted to share my thoughts on other things that defined me as a person, my values. ..
I have always been someone who sought to make the lives of other people better, so if I learnt a new way  ( or a better way ) of doing something, I was always eager to share it.
then came the name " The Village Belle".

Back in secondary school ( up Olashore International School!), I had a Literature teacher ( bless your heart Mr. Harry Essang) that was the embodiment of literature himself. He gave life to all the " thous" and " thine" of Shakespeare and co. Interesting to note was Wole Soyinka's  Lion and the jewel and the beautiful character of Sidi. She was the village belle, young, beautiful, albeit naive. She was the cynosure of all eyes and the most wanted.

It was in this character that I felt an embodiment of my message. Being beautiful both outside and within but yearning , hungry  even for the knowledge and wisdom that life's journey has to offer.

These are the things that I want my blog to be about and I would like to carry you my readers along on this journey.

I would still do mostly beauty related stuff but I will add other interesting and juicy tidbits as I am inspired to. so stay tuned!

Yes, I still calculate money in terms of how many MAC lipsticks that would buy ( God help my soul!)
