FACE OF ZARON 2015 COMPETITION- Detailed tutorial!

Hello peeps, sorry I have been MIA, however nothing like a challenge to get my creative juices flowing, yeah! lets go there!

I was scrolling through my instagram page recently (alert!please, please stop now and follow @hadassah_makeup on instagram if you have not done that already thank you!) and stumbled upon the post from @zaroncosmetics on the face of Zaron competition.

Contestants are supposed to re-create the model's look and take a picture of themselves to participate.
I will include the rules at the end of the post and full product listing but you can always visit @zaroncosmetics page on instagram for detailed info about the competition.
There are no hard and fast rules to this look. Its a simple glamorous look. so pick up your brushes and makeup bags, who knows? you may  be the next face of Zaron cosmetics Hurray!
you can can always modify the look using products you have already and the look does not have to be exact so no excuses, lets go!
I loved the look and decided to recreate it on myself and share the steps with you guys. loved the outcome..

 BROWS
The model seemed to have really sculpted and well defined brows, so after lining my eyebrows in outline with a dark brown pencil  I reached for my Zaron eyebrow definer to fill in the brows starting from the last third then blending inwards. click here for my eyebrow tutorial post
I enhanced this eyeshape further with concealer which I set with a cream coloured eyeshadow topped with a campagne coloured eyeshadow just at the peak.

EYES
The eye look was a soft champagne gold smokey eye that beautifully set off the cool grey colour of the pupils (or contact lens as the case may be).
I started off by applying an eye kohl pencil on the inner and outer corners of the lid blending upwards which I set with a matte black eyeshadow. This I followed with application of cream coloured primer on the rest of the mobile lid over which I layered a skin tone mauvy gold eyeshadow blending upwards and sideways to touch the black I had previously applied..

I finished off the look by applying a cool brown eyeshadow which I applied in the transition to blend the look together deepening it in the crease with a mixture of a dark brown and black eyeshadow.
I lined my upper lids with the black kohl pencil applied with an angled liner for precision (also lined the lower lids in the same way after I had finished my foundation and powder to ensure a crisp line not rubbed off by powder).
The model's lashes were subtle so I went for individuals mostly at the outer corners and finished off with mascara.

FACE
The model's face was matte with pearlescent highlights and strong cheek contouring. so after applying a face primer, I applied a full coverage cream foundation, highlighting under my eyes with a cream concealer, also along the nose bridge, forehead and chin.
I applied foundation to contour along my cheekbones, sides the nose, jaw, my temples and forehead. I used a light yellow based powder on the highlighted areas pressing in with a wedge sponge.
I set the contour with a dark warm toned pressed powder.Using a big fluffy powder brush I flicked away excess powder and blended all in with a transluscent powder.
I went back in to intensify the cheekbone  using a warm brown berry toned eyeshadow to get that really sculpted look.

The model seemed to have cool toned pearlescent highlights so I used a champagne coloured eyeshadow instead ( as all my highlighters are golden brown toned). the particles did not blend in too well so it ended up looking like (strobbing instead of basic highlights) oh my! lol!

LIPS
I am naturally a full on colour lip person so for me glossy lips is not really my thing especially with my full lips, I was pleasantly surprised at the outcome of this look!
after lining my lips with a burgundy lipliner I applied a red liquid lipstick then sheered it out in the center by applying a transparent gloss.I have never worn glossy red lips like this before and I loved this look
