MAKEUP REMOVAL ROUTINE- Taking the day off!
After rocking an amazing look during the day, sometimes I am
tempted to just jump into bed and sleep off (and sometimes I really do! Lol)
but for great blemish-free skin, its best to remove makeup thoroughly. As with
most of my skin care routine, I tend to favour creamier, alcohol-free and less drying
products as I have dry skin, hence makeup removal is no different for me.
Products used may vary for someone with a different skin type, so let’s get
started with these easy steps.
EYE MAKEUP REMOVER
Applied with finger
tips and gently swiped over brows eyelids lashes then I use cotton bud soaked
in makeup remover to remove eyeliner, mascara from root to tips of lashes.
CLEANSER
I start with a creamy cleanser applied generously all over
my face. I use this because its consistency helps to lift off makeup products
like foundation and concealer, from the skin easily without drying my skin then I
wipe off with a cotton pad. One could also use a dedicated makeup remover at
this stage, all a matter of personal preference.

I finish off with a cleanser (which is still soap free). I
use this to wash off any oiliness and makeup residue left behind. Sometimes I think
I do this step just for the love of having water splash on my face with
something to wash off lol!
BLEMISH CONTROL WIPES
I use this
occasionally on those lazy days or when I travel and don’t have my products
with me. I swipe all over my face then wash with any facial bar I can reach
for. One can use regular baby wipes, I just like that this also fights
blemishes at the same time.

I finish off with a splash of toner and a dab of moisturizer.
