31 Days Of Milani, 31 Milani Lip swatches Part 2

31 Days Of Milani, 31 Milani Lip swatches Part 2

Hello guys, so here is the second part of my selfie post on Milani lip swatches (wearing a different Milani lip product daily for 31 days) .
The aim of this lip project was to actually highlight how you can transform you look every day simply by changing your lipstick colour, how cool is that?
P.S this is not a sponsored post...., just me sharing my lipstick obsession......
If you are yet to read my posts on the lip look for the first 10 days, you can check them up here.
So let's move ahead in this post from days 11-20.

 DAY 11- Violet volt
Sometimes I feel like a kid with many crayons to play with, lol so many colours to choose from phew!
The lot fell on Milani lipstick in Violet volt today. It's a unique metallic purple shade, not for the faint-hearted, I tell you!
It's violet magenta shade is so vibrant, it beautifully compliments even the most neutral eye looks, yeah! (insert some rough-necks and finger snaps here!lol).
BTW it's just powder, brow pencil and my violet volt.... lipliner in Tease by black opal cosmetics

DAY 12-Uptown Mauve
Adding some colour to your day... with Milani lipstick in Uptown Mauve.
I love the "creaminess" and pigmentation of the lipstick, however it is not mauve to me, seems more like a dusted down fuchsia. So if you are not down with the "in-your-face" fuchsia bright pink lipstick, this might be right down your alley.
Lipliner is black opal (a kind of vino shade) sorry the name had worn off....

DAY 13-Rose Hip
Getting ready for a fun and vibrant weekend with Milani lipstick in Rose Hip. It is a vibrant hot pink shade similar to MAC Candy Yum Yum lipstick (similar pigmentation, shade, but Candy Yum Yum is matte while Rose Hip is creamy with a satin finish).
It wears off nicely leaving a lovely stain behind.
Ah... yes, lipliner, very important with this neon pink number. I am wearing Vintage Port from Black opal cosmetics.

DAY 14-Black cherry
Milani cosmetics Lipstick in Black Cherry. A lovely deep vampy shade, a unique berry colour. Pigmentation is great leaving behind a beautiful stain that lasts,  long after the lipstick is gone.
Here I used no lipliner, however you can switch things up by lining the lips with a darker  liner for a more vampy look.
I could layer Milani's Nude Creme  or Pink frost  lipstick on the center of the lower lip for added dimension.

DAY 15- Pretty Natural
Off to church! Rocking Milani Lipstick in Pretty Natural.
It looks like "pretty pink " on me lol.
Would be a very flattering pink nude shade on fair to medium skin tone sistas.
Had to go light handed with this baby and top of with a little clear gloss. Snapped out a dark brown lip liner with this one because it could easily look pastel pink and unflattering if too much was applied.
I liked the soft look it gave. A gorgeous creamy pinky nude.
Just a light dusting of my Milani cosmetics mineral powder in Deep and some brow definition.
#must not be late to church #because of face painting lol!

DAY 16- Matte Passion
It's Monday people! Adding some colour to your day with Milani Lipstick in Matte Passion.
An intense matte  coral shade. It's an orange shade with brick-red undertones.  So if you want it to lean more coral using a brick red/red liner would give that look. If you want it brighter, a coral lipliner would bring more of the orange tones out.
I used black opal cosmetics liner in Red Carpet . I would look scary without it! Lol.
I had to exfoliate the lips before wearing this shade, because it would highlight fine lines and every crevice. So exfoliating before wearing this (and any matte shade) is key really
This is a lippie I reach for on those " I-dont-send" days.
This lippie is a conversation starter, no hiding place for you!

DAY 17- Rose femme
It's another work day and my nude lippies stash came in handy. Here is #Milani
lipstick in Rose femme. A gorgeous creamy nude, a mauve plum shade with brown undertones that help to keep it from looking too bright and make it super wearable for any skin tone!
Whats not to love about a lippie that applies easily and evenly, helping you get out of the house in  a jiffy?
Thumbs up from The working mums club!

DAY 18- Flamingo Pose
Milani lipstick in flamingo pose. A pink-coral shade with satin finish. Its super bright and bold and would look gorgeous on fair to medium skin tones.
Me? I would have to line my lips with a brick shade lipliner to make it more wearable on my skin tone.

DAY 19- High Voltage
Wow! What a busy day it was! Calling it a night with Milani lipstick in High voltage. A creamy bright red lippie with some orange undertones.
Trust me, in brighter light it pulls more orange.
It is also long-lasting and wears off to leave a nice stain on the lips!

DAY 20- Matte Orchid
Okay people! Really feeling myself with this matte shade from Milani -Matte orchid lipstick.
A really flattering fuchsia shade with blue undertones, matte and (non drying at the same time, can you believe that?) applies like a dream, well pigmented with good coverage in one swipe, see for yourself!
Said to be a dupe of MAC Flat out fabulous lipstick. Hope to do a swatch comparison if I get the time....
MAC Lipliner in Currant on duty here...
