Milani colour statement lipsticks - Plums and Berries

This is a very brief post on the Milani Color statement lipsticks in berry and purple shades that I have in my collection.

Uptown Mauve
Creamy, Opaque texture and good color payoff. I love the "creaminess" and pigmentation of this lipstick , however, it is not really mauve to me, seems like a "dusted down" fuchsia, so if you are not down with the in-your-face fuchsia bright pink lipstick, this might be right down your alley.

Sangria

 it's a semi matte gorgeous deep berry with purple undertones. (Looks like MAC'S Rebel). it really is a multifaceted shade that pulls differently in every light. Under a tungsten bulb, it's a deep wine red. In natural light, it's a dark, almost magenta berry.

This is my Go-to when I want that "Boss lady-don't-mess-with-me" look.

Chilled Brandy-
Frosty Burgundy, with red undertones.Its a pearlescent burgundy red with metallic  finish, a show stopper any day.

Black Cherry -
A lovely deep vampy shade, a unique berry colour. Pigmentation is great leaving behind a beautiful stain that lasts,  long after the lipstick is gone.

Here I used no lipliner, however you can switch things up by lining the lips with a darker  liner for a more vampy look.

I could layer Milani Nude Creme  or Pink frost lipsticks on the center of the lower lip for added dimension. I either wear it alone for a goth look or pair it with a highlight shade like Pink Frost.

Violet Volt-
Bright purple-fuchsia, a unique shade in this line up, bold purple with vinyl finish.

Wears evenly on the lips leaving behind a beautiful stain.
Lasts as long as 4-5hrs.

Some of the shades such as Chilled brandy have been discontinued and replaced with equally vibrant shades .
